KEY.DOC
To change the 3270 Reset function to the left <Ctrl> key as a "dual key":
1. Invoke the Keyboard Definition Utility by typing
KEYDEF config_filename
config_filename is the name of your NetWare 3270 LAN Workstation for DOS
configuration file. (You may omit the .CFG extension.)
The keyboard template panel appears on your screen.
In this configuration, observe the position of the left <Ctrl> key and the
<Reset> key, which is to the right and adjacent to <Spacebar>.
2. Press <F10>.
The left <Ctrl> key toggles to the <Reset> key and the key adjacent to
<Spacebar> on the right side toggles to <Alt>.
The <F10> key toggles the Reset function between its old position, which is
the right <Alt> key, and the left <Ctrl> key.
3. To save this keyboard setting and quit KEYDEF, press <End>.
The key not mapped to the Reset function, whether it is set to be left
<Ctrl> or right <Alt>, can be remapped to any 3270 function with standard
KEYDEF keyboard remapping operations.
For more information about the Keyboard Definition Utility (KEYDEF) and the
keyboard template panel, see the "NetWare 3270 Keyboard Definition Utility
User's Guide".
